Chalk the Block

This activity works with neighborhood kids to spruce up sidewalks for National Night Out. Community Education’s SOS (Summer of Service), the Rochester National Night Out Committee, and RNeighbors, all partner in this fun annual project.

The day of National Night Out (first Tuesday in August) SOS teams blanket pre-determined Rochester neighborhoods to help create chalk art masterpieces. Chalk is provided free of charge and prizes are offered.
