One of Rochester's best events, The Rochester International Film Festival, will be held Friday May 5 through Thursday May 11 at the Chateau Theatres!

Rochester International Film Group (RIFG) is working with Minnesota Film Arts and the Chateau Theatres to bring a week long festival of foreign and art films to Rochester. The films are selected from the best films shown at the MInneapolis-St. Paul Film Festival so the quality of the movies shown at the Rochester Film Fest is very good. If you buy a ticket to the first Friday evening movie, you can attend the opening night party at the Chateau Theatres for free!

The School Board Academy gives an inside view of the Rochester Public Schools and the School Board. The Academy, taught by School Board members and District administration, provides an opportunity to learn about the complexities involved in managing and operating Rochester Public Schools. This is an opportunity for citizens to become knowledgeable, learn about opportunities for involvement in the District, and/or consider service as a Rochester School Board member.

Due to construction at the Edison Building, the May classes are to be held at the Northrop Building-Room 109. Please call Wendy for further instruction 287-2196.
