Notice is hereby given by the Common Council of the City of Rochester, Minnesota, that all persons interested in the following public hearings:

The question of whether the following described parcels of land recently annexed to the City should be included in the Rural Service District established by Ordinance 1466.

1. 23.32 acres located along the south side of County Road 34 and the along the west side County Road 22 SW in a part of the West 1/2 of the NW 1/4 of Section 4 and a part of the East 1/2 of the NE 1/4 of Section 5, Rochester Township owned by Gregory Wencl.
2. 42.09 acres located south of Pinewood Road SE and south and west of the Pinewood Ridge Second Subdivision in a part of the West 1/2 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 19, Marion Township owned by Bigelow Homes LLC.
3. 23.78 acres located south of Pinewood Road SE, west of 34th Avenue SE and east of Pinewood Ridge Drive SE in a part of the West 1/2 of the SW 1/4 of Section 17, Marion Township owned by Gary Vandal.

Running Start for School is a community partnership of United Way of Olmsted County, Child Care Resource and Referral, The Salvation Army, Rochester Public Schools, and Cumulus Communications. Last year, over 1,964 students received school supplies, but there were over 5,400 eligible students in Olmsted County.

Notice is hereby given by the Common Council of the City of Rochester, Minnesota, that all persons interested in the following public hearings:

• General Development Plan R00276GDP by Badger Pacific Equity Partners, LLC, to be known as Stonewood. On July 16, 2007 the City Council moved to continue the vote on the proposed findings of fact document for this application until August 20, 2007, and to reopen the public hearing which will be restricted to receiving testimony concerning 1) The builder’s specific locked-in road improvements and contributions; 2) the City’s good faith narrative on the potential short and long term costs to the current Bamberwood residents specifically as to stormwater, drainage and pedestrian facilities; and, 3) Road and transportation costs associated with the project. The applicant proposes to develop 35.6 acres of land for 45 single family lots on land located southwest of US 52, east of Bamberwood 1st subdivision and north of Barony Woods subdivision.
• Vacation Petition #2007-006VAC by TexPar Energy, LLC. The applicant is proposing to vacate a 20 feet wide utility easement located on their property in part of the East 1/2 of the NW 1/4 of Section 34 of Cascade Township. The property is located north of TH 14 West and south of 7th Street NW and is where the petroleum tanks are being constructed.
• Final Plat #R2007-009PLAT by Jerry Orr to be known as 62nd Place. The plat proposes to subdivide a part of Lot 2, Block 1 Westgards First Subdivision into 2 lots. There are existing buildings on the proposed lots. The property is located along the east side of 34th Ave. NE, west of TH 52 and south of 65th Street NW.
• Type III, Phase I, Appeal #R2007-002AP by First Homes Properties. The applicant is appealing the Rochester Zoning Board of Appeals decision to deny requested variance number #R2007-018VAR to allow an accessory structure that does not meet the required setback for detached accessory buildings in a residential district located in the rear yard adjacent to an alley. The property is in the R-1 (Mixed Single Family) Zoning District. The property address is 1140 West Center Street, Rochester, MN.
• Amendment to approved Incentive Development #04-46 the B’nai Israel Synagogue. The applicant is proposing to amend the layout of the parking lot located along the north side of the alley since additional property has been acquired. The property is located along the north side of 2nd Street SW, along the east side of 7th Avenue SW and along the south side of 1st Street SW.
• Preliminary Plat R2007-004PLAT by DKMC Development, to be known as Pine Ridge Heights. The plat consists of 10 lots on 5.49 acres located west of US 52 and north and east of Redwood Lane and Ponderosa Dr., SW. The plat proposes an extension of Red Pine Lane, SW.
