Please help us acknowledge the special work of community members who volunteer their time and talents to build a healthier future for Olmsted County. Nominations must be received by Wednesday, March 19. All nominees and award recipients will be recognized on April 8 at the Olmsted County Board meeting. (event) Channel One FoodShare March Campaign Start: 12:00 am End: 5:00 pm Body: Each March, Minnesota FoodShare, a program of the Greater Minneapolis Council of Churches, organizes Minnesota's largest drive for the hungry: the March Campaign. Thousands of corporations, congregations, civic groups, and individuals raise millions of pounds of food and millions of dollars to feed families who need help. Channel One has set an ambitious goal for the 2008 Campaign: $110,000 and 75,000 pounds of food.
