MN Food Share
 
Each March, Minnesota FoodShare, a program of the Greater Minneapolis Council of Churches, organizes Minnesota's largest drive for the hungry: the March Campaign. Thousands of corporations, congregations, civic groups, and individuals raise millions of pounds of food and millions of dollars to feed families who need help.

Channel One has set an ambitious goal for the 2008 Campaign: $110,000 and 75,000 pounds of food.

The Meadow Park Neighbors Garage Sale will be on Saturday, May 17, from 8am until 2pm.

Signs and advertising are available for $5 per household.

Maps will be available at local convenience stores.

The City Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Rochester, Minnesota, will hold a public meeting in the Council/Board Chambers of the Government Center, 151 4th Street SE, Rochester, MN, on Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at 7:00 p.m. regarding:

  • Zoning District Amendment #R2008-001ZC by the City of Rochester to amend the Floodway and Flood Fringe boundaries and 100 Year Flood Protection Elevations for a portion of Bear Creek and the East Fork Willow Creek in the area between 11th Ave., SE and Marion Rd., SE.
