Signs and advertising are available for $5 per household.

Maps will be available at local convenience stores.

Notice is hereby given by the Common Council of the City of Rochester, Minnesota, that all persons interested in the following public hearings:

• Vacation Petition R2008-009VAC UTILITY by Terry Spaeth. The applicant is proposing to vacate the northerly five feet of the 30 foot wide sanitary sewer easement located along the southerly line of Lot 5, Block 2, Fratzke’s Homestead Subdivision. The property is located at 937 NE 11th Avenue.
• Vacation Petition R2008-008VAC UTILITY by RP Crossroads, LLC. The applicant is proposing to vacate the public utility easement located along the easterly line of Lots 1 and 2, Block 2, Grahams Second Addition. The property is located south of 14th Street SW, east of 2nd Avenue SW and west of South Broadway (TH 63).
• Vacation Petition R2008-007VAC UTILITY by Michael Balas. The applicant is proposing to vacate the 10 foot utility easement located along the southerly line of Lot 1, Block 1, Northern Heights Subdivision. The property is located at 2013 Fifth Avenue NE.
• Vacation Petition R2008-006VAC by B’nai Israel Synagogue. The applicant is proposing to vacate the west 131 feet of the east-west dedicated alley right-of-way in Block 8, William McCullough’s Addition. The alley right-of-way is located east of 7th Avenue SW, north of 2nd Street SW and north of the new B’nai Israel Synagogue facility currently under construction.
• Final Plat R2008-003PLAT by Maine Street Development of Rochester, LLC to be known as Maine Street Development Second. The plat proposes to subdivide Lot 1, Block 3 Maine Street Development into 2 lots for commercial development. The property is located south of Canal Place SE and west of Maine Avenue SE.
• Final Plat R2008-004PLAT by Hadley Valley Partners of Rochester, LLC to be know as Hadley Creek Village Second. The plat is proposing to re-plat Outlot E, Hadley Creek Village consisting of 39 lots and 5 outlots on 9.71 acres for residential development. The property is located north of 48th St. NE, and west of Hadley Valley Rd. NE (CR 124) on property that is the Hawthorn Hills Golf Learning Center.

Join in the second annual city-wide litter pick up and help make Rochester “A Litter Bit Better!”

During the week of April 19-26, 2008, volunteers from Rochester neighborhoods, businesses, groups, and individuals will once again join together to pick up the litter in our community.

• Zoning District Amendment #R2008-001ZC by the City of Rochester to amend the Floodway and Flood Fringe boundaries and 100 Year Flood Protection Elevations for a portion of Bear Creek and the East Fork Willow Creek in the area between 11th Ave., SE and Marion Rd., SE.
