(event) Fall 2008 RNeighborWoods Citizen Forester Workshop - Register Today! Start: 8:00 am End: 12:00 pm Body: Citizen Forester Workshop Saturday, September 20, 8 am-noon, at Quarry Hill Nature Center Cost: $15 In spring 2007, led by the City Forester, 17 tree enthusiasts graduated as official Citizen Foresters. The class culminated with the group, led by Girl Scout Troop 100 planting a ball and burlap tree at the Quarry Hill Nature Center. (event) RE-fest Start: 8:30 am End: 8:00 pm Body: Southeast Minnesota's Celebration of Clean Energy and Green Living Saturday, September 20, 2008 Live music all day on the solar-powered stage, Local food and Artisans. Vendor fair featuring exhibits by green businesses and organizations. Huge Earth Balloon that you can go inside, other kids' activities, Global Action's People Can Do It gallery, 38 workshops focused on clean energy, conservation, and sustainable living. (event) Family Film Program: Click, Clack, Moo: Cow That Type Start: 10:30 am Body: Our fall film program features three hilarious farmyard tales written by favorite picture book author Doreen Cronin: Click, Clack, Moo: Cows that Type, Duck for President, and Dooby, Dooby, Moo. 10:30 a.m. in the library auditorium.
