This year we know that number can be doubled or tripled.

“99 Years of Making a Difference”

“NAACP: Power, Justice, Freedom, VOTE!” is the theme for our 2008 banquet. This aligns very well with President/CEO, NAACP Benjamin Jealous’ five-point action agenda to encompass Civil Rights, Political Empowerment, Educational Excellence, Economic Development and Youth Outreach. Our speaker this year will be Ms. Mavis Thompson, President Elect of the National Bar Association. Our speaker’s message will be a great complement to this year’s theme. This agenda is a clear and compelling blueprint for our local branch and will guide our service.
