Earth Week Mayoral Proclamation
Join us on April 3, 2008, at 8:30 am, in the City Hall Atrium for the Earth Week Mayoral Proclamation.
WHEREAS, Earth Day is Tuesday, April 22, 2008 and Arbor Day is Friday, April 25, 2008; and
WHEREAS, Earth Day and Arbor Day inspire many organizations to host environmental events to help raise awareness of environmental issues during the month of April; and
WHEREAS, several environmental events have been planned in Rochester during the month of April; and
WHEREAS, the Rochester Public Library will screen the family film The Artic Tale on Wednesday, April 16th from 6:30 to 8:30 pm in the Library Auditorium; and

Join in the second annual city-wide litter pick up and help make Rochester “A Litter Bit Better!”
During the week of April 19-26, 2008, volunteers from Rochester neighborhoods, businesses, groups, and individuals will once again join together to pick up the litter in our community.

During the week of April 21-28, 2007, volunteers from Rochester neighborhoods, businesses, groups, and individuals will be joining together to pick up the litter in our community.
