Democrats WILL Raise Your Taxes
Democrats want you to believe that they "love" tax cuts:
Rep. Pelosi (D-CA): "Democrats have supported middle-income tax cuts. We love tax cuts, because when they are geared to the middle class, inject demand into the economy, create jobs, and also increase savings in our country. We've always been for them, whether it's the R&D tax credit, whether it's the child tax credit in a refundable way. I have told you in the speech what our priorities were."
FACT: 1993, 217 House and 50 Senate Democrates voted for Bill Clinton's tax hike, which raised taxes $241 billion.

FACT: 85% of House and 72% of Senate Democrats voited against the 2001 tax cuts.
FACT: 97% of House and 96% of Senate Democrats voted against the 2003 tax cuts.
FACT: In 2001, 69% of House Democrats voted against a stand-alone bill to double the marriage deduction and the child tax credit.
FACT: In 2001, 95% of Democrats voted against a bill that reworked the income tax rate structure, establishing a new, low 10 percent income tax bracket.
FACT: In 2004, 34% of House Democrats voted against extending the 10 percent income tax bracket (to 2010), marriage penalty relief (to 2008) and increased child tax credit (to 2009).
FACT: In 2006, 92% of House and 93% of Senate Democrats voted against the $70 billion tax relief package, which extended the capital gainst and divident tax cuts.
FACT: In 2006, 82% of House and 90% of Senate Democrats voted against a bill that increased the minimum wage, partially repealed the death tax, and extended several tax credits.
FACT: A majority of House Democrats have voted at least 26 times against marriage penalty relief.
FACT: A majority of Senate Democrats have voted against marriage penalty relief at least 25 times.
FACT: A majority of House Democrats have voted at least 19 times against child tax credit.
FACT: A majority of Senate Democrats have voted against expanding child tax credit at least 18 times.
FACT: A majority of House Democrats voted at least 23 times against full death tax repeal.
FACT: A majority of Senate Democrats voted at least 15 times against full repeal of the death tax.
