A Three-Part Session

Set Thursday evenings aside to consider population, energy use, and life styles with Rochester community member Norm Erickson.

Norm Erickson has worked for IBM over 32 years, eight of them as a Senior Instructor in Lab Education where he developed and taught courses on new product architectures and taught at IBM labs in the U.S., Canada, and Europe. He taught community education classes on solar water and space heating for Rochester Area Vocational and Technical Institute, and on tree care and pruning and buckthorn control. Beginning in 1990, and running for seven years, Erickson wrote a weekly OP-ED column on the environment and related topics for the Rochester Post Bulletin. Interested and concerned about peak oil/natural gas related issues for years, Erickson is an active member of the Olmsted County Clean Energy Resource Team www.cleanenergyresourceteams.org. He has given numerous presentations to community groups, community leaders, local government and state legislators on energy issues.
