Rochester Zoning Board of Appeals

Notice is hereby given that the Rochester Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, May 2, 2007, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council/Board Chambers of the Government Center, 151 4th Street SE, Rochester, MN. The purpose of this hearing will be to consider the following:

• Type III, Phase I, Variance Request #R2007-009VAR by B&E Valhalla LLC to allow for the width of the recreation area to be less than the required 30 feet in width for recreation areas that are less than 10,000 square feet. The proposed recreation area is for the River Bluff at Elton Hills project to be located at 1880 Third Avenue NW.
• Type III, Phase I, Variance Request #R2007-010VAR by the City of Rochester/Park and Recreation Department to allow for the placement of a new storage building/warming house that does not meet the required front yard setbacks for Area Accessory Structures in the R-1 (Mixed Single Family) Residential Zoning District. The proposed storage building/warming house is located at 2021 Mayowood Rd SW.
