Join us on Saturday May 17th for the Saturdays at Slatterly 1st Annual Bloom Day! This event will be located on 6th Ave SE between 9th & 10th Streets.

Celebrate our neighborhood by getting involved in planting a boulevard garden, or just sprucing up your curb appeal.

Demonstrations:

11:30—12:00 p.m. Boulevard garden planting

12:30—1:00 p.m. Window box planting and decorating for all seasons

1:30—2:00 p.m. How to organically fertilize your lawn

On going activities:

  • Information booth on getting your boulevard garden started
  • Master gardeners on hand to give insight on the proper care and,
    the right kinds of plants to use.
  • Perennial Plant sale.
  • FREE flower for kids to take home.
  • Lemonade stand
  • Boulevard garden/ tree permit information, and $20 coupon
    towards a new boulevard garden/ tree for neighborhood residents.
