Notice is hereby given that the Rochester Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council/Board Chambers of the Government Center, 151 4th Street SE, Rochester, MN. The purpose of this hearing will be to consider the following:
- Type III, Phase I, Variance Request R2008-003VAR by Reliable Contractors to allow for the construction of a new building that is within the traffic visibility zone and does not meet the side street side yard setbacks of the B-4 (General Commercial) Zoning District. The property is located at 625 North Broadway, Rochester, MN.
- Type III, Phase I, Variance Request R2008-004VAR by Verizon Wireless to allow for the construction of a new tower that does not meet the required setbacks for telecommunication towers. The property is located in the M-1 (Mixed Commercial-Industrial) Zoning District. The property is located at 3602 40th Ave NW, Rochester, MN.
- Type III, Phase I, Variance Request R2008-005VAR by Bowman Safe and Lock Shop to allow for the construction of a new building that does not meet the required front or side street side yard setbacks in the B-4 (General Commercial) Zoning District. The property is located at 1219 7th St NW, Rochester, MN.
- Type III, Phase I, Variance Request R2008-006VAR by Randy and Barbara Hight-Randall to allow for the construction of an addition onto the rear of the garage which does not meet the required rear yard setback in the R-1 (Mixed Single Family) Zoning District. The property is located at 621 Memorial Parkway SW, Rochester, MN.
