The Eastside Pioneers Neighborhood Association meets the 2nd Thursday of each month, 7:00 PM, at the Boys and Girls Club. We will be meeting this Thursday, May 8, 7:00 PM at the Boys and Girls Club, not at the Center for Life Outreach Center as previously scheduled.

Agenda:

A representative from the Rochester Police Department (RPD) will be present to discuss follow up on our December community discussion on gangs.
What steps has the RPD taken to address the gang problem?
Additional officers
Special Gang unit
Collaborative efforts with community groups (RNeighbors, Boys and Girls Club, church groups, schools, businesses, service organizations, county attorney's office, social services etc)

GREAT program in schools?

Is the gang problem continuing to grow?
What role will the new Community Service Officers(CSO) be able to play in the gang problem?
Gang activity is a community problem, what are our elected officials doing about it?
