People, Policy, and Politics: The 2008 Legislative Session
Health care reform, a $1 billion budget hole, transportation funding, investments in public facilities, light rail transit, veterans' issues, environmental concerns, housing foreclosures, teen drivers.. the 2008 session of the Minnesota legislature had a very full agenda. Was this legislative session productive? Less partisan? Noteworthy or just average?
Area Legislators will be present to give you highlights of the 2008 session, answer your questions, and predict the issues that will be on the table in 2009.
Print the event flyer [1] out and post it in your neighborhood, at your workplace, or hand it out to your friends.
