The Department of Public Works Traffic Division will be doing roadway paving marking and Traffic Signal Modifications at the intersection of CSAH # 22 and 55th Street NW starting on Tuesday, June 17th with all work scheduled to be completed the same day. This work entails the modification of the East Bound travel lane on 55th Street NW from a through only traffic lane to a combination through / left turn configuration. There may be temporary lanes closings during this period of time with no significant traffic delays expected.
To accomplish the required the signal modifications the Traffic Signals at CSAH # 22 (West Circle Drive NW) & 55th Street NW will be required to be turned off at 9:00 AM Tuesday morning June 17th, with traffic being regulated with “ALL WAY STOP” signs and “ALL WAY FLASHING REDS” on the traffic signal itself. The Traffic Signal modifications are expected to be completed by 3:30 PM, with the signal being turned back on and fully operational at that time.
Pavement painting modifications are anticipated to occur the same day, Tuesday, June 17th .
Pedestrians and motorists are advised to use caution while driving through all work zones.
