Rochester neighbors set a record during this year's National Night Out! Over 21,000 people attended 173 neighborhood events including potlucks, picnics, ice cream socials, and even street parties. In 2007 16,754 people participated.
The Folwell Neighborhood Association was no exception. The photos were taken at Folwell's National Night Out potluck picnic. The Rochester Fire Department joined in the event and shared tours of the truck with neighbors both young and old.
The Rochester Police Department organizes National Night Out locally and RNeighbors is a participating partner in the effort. Plans are already underway for another record setting year in 2009!
