Kids Voting Rochester

Kids Voting Rochester is made possible by a local partnership which includes schools, election officials, business and community leaders and volunteers. Watch for our posters showing all these “champions of democracy.”
We would like to encourage more adults and high school students to step up and volunteer at the polls. This is a one time “community service” opportunity and requires a short training session and a commitment to work at least two hours at the polls on election day.
Volunteer training
- Wednesday, Oct. 22; 5:30-6:30 p.m. or 7-8 p.m.
- Wednesday, Oct. 29; 5:30-6:30 p.m.

In 2006, volunteers were caught up in the excitement the youngsters felt while voting with their parents at the polls. It was a rewarding experience for all that took part.
Kids Voting Rochester is hands-on, real-life, real-time education!
