Notice is hereby given that the Rochester Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, November 5, 2008, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council/Board Chambers of the Government Center, 151 4th Street SE, Rochester, MN. The purpose of this hearing will be to consider the following:
- Type III, Phase I, Variance Request R2008-022VAR by Rochester Public Schools – Century High School, to allow for the construction of a sign that does not meet the height, size, and lighting requirements for Area Accessory Uses. - Type III, Phase I, Variance Request R2008-023VAR by David Meyer, to allow for the construction of a detached accessory structure that does not meet the height requirements for accessory structures within the R-1 (Mixed Single Family) Zoning District. - Type III, Phase I, Variance Request R2008-024VAR by William Lesmeister, to allow for the increase of an impervious surface within the Shoreland District. The property is in the B-4 (General Commercial) Zoning District. The property address is 31 Rockport LN SE, Rochester, MN.
- Type III, Phase I, Variance Request R2008-025VAR by Home Doc Renovations-Steven Plopper, to allow for the construction of an attached garage that doesn’t meet the required front yard setbacks within the R-1 (Mixed Single Family) Zoning District. The property address is 807 9th St NW, Rochester, MN.
- Type III, Phase I, Variance Request R2008-026VAR by Dennis Mulholland, to allow for the establishment of a triplex on a parcel of property that doesn’t meet the minimum lot size for a triplex in the R-2 (Low Density Residential) Zoning District.
