Common Council of the City Public Hearing
Notice is hereby given by the Common Council of the City of Rochester, Minnesota, that all persons interested in the following public hearings:
- Type III, Phase I, Appeal Request R2008-004AP by William Lesmeister, appealing the decision of the Rochester Zoning Board of Appeals on Variance R2008-024VAR regarding a variance to allow for the increase of an impervious surface within the Shoreland District. The property is in the B-4 (General Commercial) Zoning District. The property address is 31 Rockport LN SE, Rochester, MN.
Vacation Petition R2008-018VAC UTILITY by Meadow Lake Builders of Rochester. The applicant is proposing to vacate the 50 foot wide drainage easement over and across Outlot A Patio Homes of Meadow Lakes. The property is located west of West Circle Drive and south of Berkshire Road SW. - Final Plat #R2008-006PLAT by Meadow Lakes Builders of Rochester, to be known as Patio Homes of Meadow Lakes Second Addition. The Plat proposes to subdivide approximately 19.39 acres of land into 24 lots for residential dwellings and 3 Outlots. The Plat is located west of West Circle Drive and along the south side of Berkshire Road SW and south of the Patio Homes of Meadow Lakes Subdivision.
- Final Plat R2008-014PLAT by For Sons Investment LLC to be known as Barclay Square First Replat. The plat proposes to re-subdivide Lot 1 Block 1 Barclay Square and a part of Green Meadows First Subdivision into 4 lots. The property is located along the east side of Salem Road SW, along the north side of 16th Street SW and along the east and north side of Greenview Drive SW.
- Type III, Phase II Restricted Development R2008-036CUP by Olmsted County Public Works. The applicant proposes to construct a new public works service center complex to replace their existing facility along 3rd Avenue SE. The complex would consist of a 109,904 square foot maintenance/office building, wash building, sand/salt storage building, fuel island and a cold storage building. The property is approximately 87.09 acres of land located east of St. Bridget Road SE and the Forest Knoll Subdivision, and south of 45th Street SE (County Road 101), a part Section 25 and Section 36, Rochester Township.
- Type III, Phase II Conditional Use Permit R2005-006CUP by Rochester Sand and Gravel, a Division of Mathy Construction. The applicant is requesting renewal for a minimum of three years of the conditional use permit #05-06 to operate a hot mix asphalt plant on property located east of TH 63 and south of 60th St. within the former Quarve quarry pit.
May be heard at a meeting of the Common Council to be held in the Council/Board Chambers in the Government Center, 151 4th Street SE, in said City at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 1, 2008.
