On Saturday October 25th Slatterly Park Neighbors got together to celebrate Autumn's Harvest and Halloween by participating in Saturdays at Slatterly Pumpkin Carving Contest. We picked the perfect day as it was one of the last days of fall where it got into the lower 60's before the temps took a nose dive the next day. Event organizers decorated the Slatterly Park Shelter with a Halloween theme, with cobwebs and all! About 35 neighbors showed up to carve, or decorate their very own pumpkin creations, while they enjoyed hot apple cider, pumpkin cookies. It was tough to judge the entries as they were all so spooky and cute! From the organizers: Thank you to Cub Foods, Sekapp Orchards, and Slatterly Park Neighbors for coming out to celebrate our downtown neighborhood! Click on the link for photos: Pumpkin Carving Photos
