Given that an effective Democracy relies on an informed and active citizenry I've recently focused on local events of note. But I plan to once in awhile take in the bigger picture and what's at stake as we are all part of something so much bigger and more important than ourselves and our lives.

Try these articles on for size. I do apologize that my Macintosh computer doesn't seem to allow me to make 'click on' links, a conflict between the PC world and my world perhaps...I'll be working on that. For now Dan Butterfass, the admin on these pages has stepped in and made my links ACTIVE. Thanks Dan!
