RNeighborWalks is a neighborhood walking program that originally kicked off August 15, 2006, in South East Rochester, at Riverside Central Elementary School. On July 24, 2007, our second six-month session kicked off, this time with Mayo High School as our home base.

This program is funded through a grant from BlueCross® BlueShield® [1], and encourages people of all ages to walk in their neighborhoods.

Each Tuesday, the group will meet, learn a bit about the topic of interest, and then walk in the neighborhood past features that were included in the talk. In the winter months, the program will move into the school. There is no cost involved.
