Boundaries

Commencing as a point of beginning at the intersection of 3rd Avenue SE and 12th Street SE (TH 14); thence easterly along the centerline of 12th Street SE to the bridge over Bear Creek; thence southerly along Bear Creek to its confluence with Willow Creek; thence southwesterly along Willow Creek to the centerline of 11th Avenue SE (CSAH 1); thence southerly along the centerline of 11th Avenue SE to the south line of the Willow Creek Middle School property extended; thence westerly along said south line and along the continuation of the south line of Smetka Park to the southwest corner of said park; thence northerly along the west line of said park and its prolongation to the centerline of 20th Street SE; thence westerly along the centerline of 20th Street SE to its intersection with 3rd Avenue SE; thence northerly along the centerline of 3rd Avenue SE to the point of beginning.

Purpose (Mission)

The purpose of MPN shall be to enhance the neighborhood values and bring neighbors together. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Preservation and enhancement of the residential character in the community.
• Promotion of safety and health in the neighborhood.
• Promotion of neighborhood Crime-Watch programs.
• Organization of social functions.
• Promotion of neighborhood cohesiveness.

Meetings

Every month on the second Tuesday, at 7 pm, at Mayo High School, Room 1-216B -- Left from door 1.

If the meeting date falls on a Federal holiday, the meeting will be held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month.
