Energy

In celebration of Earth Day, the C&C on April 21, 8-10 am, will be focused on Renewable Energy: Think Globally, Act Locally and will take place at Rochester’s own Quarry Hill Nature Center. Enjoy some Dunn Bros. coffee while engaging in conversation about renewable energy.

Dr. Steve Polasky from the University of Minnesota will be speaking on a global scale and examining the big picture of renewable energy -- the environmental economics as well as current legislative environmental efforts.

On the local level, Dr. Jim Walters from Rochester Public Utilities will share information about how renewable energy is impacting us now and in the future, as well as what we can do to conserve energy
in our every day lives.

The event flyer is posted here. Print it off and post it in your office, neighborhood, or home.
