Library holds 7th Annual Wit, Wisdom & Wine Gala Fundraising Event
The Rochester Public Library Foundation's annual gala fundraising event consists of nine educational and informative speakers, followed by a silent auction and refreshments. The cost is $50 per person if registered by January 4th, 2008; $60 per person after that date. Attendees may select two class choices to attend at 7:00 and 8:00 pm. It's been too long...
I bet you all thought you’d never hear from me again. I bet most of you probably forgot who I was. In case you need a brief reminder, my name is Lacey, I’m the teen writer for this website, the one who’s supposed to be reporting school news but doesn’t do a very good of it. Yeah, you remember now?
I sense a few heads shaking… Oh well. I have years to achieve international fame…
Anyway… I apologize for my complete absence from here. Is it just me, or have I gone through an apology like this before? Ah well… I blame MySpace. No kidding.
So as far as school news goes… um… school is kind of out (except for summer school, but I’m not attending that, so I don’t have much to say about it), for those of you who haven’t noticed, and the summer break is NICE! We’re getting great weather for summer vacation, perfect for chilling in the morning, tanning in the afternoon, and taking long, inspiring walks on bike paths thinking about fixing poverty and gas prices and global warming in the evening.
