Spouse Chris LaPlante, my wife, works at the Mayo Clinic, she is the Systems Manager for the Magnetic Resonance Imaging Lab located in the new Opus building.

She's originally from Omaha, Nebraska and she holds a Masters in Biomedical Sciences from the Mayo Clinic and the University of Minnesota.

Children: 2 Joseph 14 and Monica 16

Health Information Management at Mayo Clinic.

BA Political Science St. Mary's College, Winona, MN 1977.

Working on my Masters in Project Management, St. Mary's University, Winona and Minneapolis, MN.

Favorite tree:

I like them all, I'm always out walking or cross country skiing through the woods at Quarry Hill, Chester Woods and my uncle's farm.

Where I see RNeighbors five years from now:

With Rene at the helm the sky is the limit. RNeighbors is already a success, a tremendous asset to the community, and they are fast becoming an integral part in Rochester's efforts to create a better community.
