Trees make good neighbors.  On October 10, 2009, Northwest neighbor Ron Stephan with the help of his daughters rallied his neighborhood together to plant 20 Ginkgo trees on a frosty Saturday morning. Volunteers were anxious to get planting and warm up. Citizen forester Jesse Hoekstra demonstrated proper planting techniques and quickly put the neighbors to work.
