The city’s boulevard tree spaces are currently over half empty and each year 250-500 boulevard trees are removed due to disease or damage. We need your help to add 275 more street trees to the Bandel Drive neighborhood in northwest Rochester. Saturday, April 23 Starting at 8:30 am Meet at Schmidt Park, 6222 24th Ave NW. Help Make Rochester A Litter Bit Better! Registration Now Open 2016

A $20 bill, a poster of Steven Segal, a 5’ x 7’ rug, a box of packaged sandwiches, a set of silverware, and a car bumper. What do these things have in common? RNeighbors Statement of Purpose

As Rochester continues to grow there have been instances of neighborhood groups in the news and RNeighbors is frequently asked to comment about these different circumstances. The below statement was initially approved at an RNeighbors Board meeting on March 16, 2016, and then reviewed with City Council. RNeighbors is a nonprofit organization that encourages, supports, and provides tools to volunteers interested in participating and having a collective voice in their neighborhood and community by forming a neighborhood association. 2016 RNeighbors Neighborhood Project Grants

What is the Neighborhood Project Grant? These grants reimburse up to $1,000 in costs for neighborhoods to complete projects that enhance a neighborhood’s livability and involvement, benefit the entire neighborhood and promote a strong sense of community. We encourage you to be creative.
