In the spring of 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic landed on Minnesota’s doorstep and life in our community, schools, work places, and homes changed drastically. As cases and hospitalizations increased in the state, the Minnesota Governor declared a peacetime emergency on March 13 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and rising numbers within Minnesota.
