NOTICE OF COUNCIL HEARING
Notice is hereby given by the Common Council of the City of Rochester, Minnesota, that all persons interested in the following public hearings:
Final Plat R2009-009PLAT by Michael Younge Development, Inc. to be known as Orchard Hills South third Subdivision. The Plat proposes to create one lot from two parcels of unplatted land east of Orchard Hills South First Subdivision that is located along the north side of 9th St., SW. The subdivision will allow for the development of one residential lot.
Zoning District Amendment #R2009-007ZC by Meadow Lakes Builders of Rochester, LLC to re-zone approximately 1.27 acres from R1-X (Mixed Single Family Extra) to R-2 (Low Density Residential) zoning district in the Meadow Lakes Villas development located west of Co. Rd 22 (West Circle Drive), north of Berkshire Road SW and south of Meadow Lakes Golf Course.
Type III, Phase II Restricted Development R2009-026CUP by Metro Plains LLC. The applicant is proposing to redevelop property bounded by 4th Street NW on the south, 6th Avenue NW on the east, Cascade Creek on the west and Civic Center Drive on the North excluding the property on the corner of 4th Street NW and 6th Avenue NW. The project would consist of a mixed use development consisting of a 10,000 square foot daycare center, 2,310 square feet of commercial/retail space, 6 townhome units and a four/three story apartment building with 40 rental units. There would be underground and surface parking for the development.
May be heard at a meeting of the Common Council to be held in the Council/Board Chambers in the Government Center, 151 4th Street SE, in said City at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 21, 2009.
