Friedell Middle School’s GreenSneakers EcoChallenge

This year in recognition of Earth Day, 2011, Friedell Middle School is taking the GreenSneakers EcoChallenge for Education.  Friedell Middle School has the opportunity to win $20,000 for collecting as many new or gently used tennis shoes that we can.

Their school will receive 50 cents per pound for all the shoes collected, and will use the money received to fund our Garden Club’s efforts to beautify our school grounds, educate our students, and provide habitats for butterflies and other native species.

Start Date: April 22, 2011

End Date: May 13, 2011

Please tie each matching pair of tennis shoes together by their laces.
