City Planning & Zoning Commission Meeting

The City Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Rochester, Minnesota, will hold a public meeting in the Council/Board Chambers of the Government Center, 151 4th Street SE, Rochester, MN, on Wednesday, November 14, at 7:00 pm regarding:

Amendment to Special District #R00021SD known as Riverfront Commons by JCB Investments.  The applicant is proposing to amend the Special District language to allow for senior independent living housing, assisted living and memory care facility on the Toogood Property at the southwest corner of Mayowood Road SW and 16th Street SW.

Zoning District Amendment #R2012-006ZC initiated by the City Council to re-zone Lots 1, 2, and 3, Block 3 Gonderman and Thiel’s Subdivision from the R-2 (low density residential) zoning district to the R-1 (mixed single family) zoning district.  The property consists of the following addresses:  1128 and 1134 10 ½ Avenue SE and 1016 11 ½ Street SE.

Zoning District Amendment #R2012-007ZC initiated by the City Council to re-zone approximately 3.5 acres of land from the R-1x (mixed single family extra) district to the B-1 (restricted commercial) zoning district.  The property is located west of West Circle Drive and the regional storm water facility and north of the future extension of 41st Street NW.
