Personal Info
I grew up in Northfield, MN and I am the youngest of four, with three older brothers. I pursued a degree in Biology from the College of St. Benedict and St. John’s University, with particular interest in the areas of zoology, ecology, and environmental studies. I graduated from these institutions in May, 2009 with a B.A degree in Biology and a minor in Studio Art. I moved to Rochester in 2009 to serve as a Minnesota GreenCorps Member. I started working with RNeighbors in the fall to plan the 2010 Think Green Fair and I also greatly enjoyed participating in their RNeighborWoods and RColorful Corners programs. I currently work for Olmsted County as an Environmental Analyst. In my free time I love spending time outdoors, reading and painting.

Where I see RNeighbors 5 years from now?
I envision RNeighbors growing, expanding and becoming an even more prominent leader in the community. I see their current programs and projects like RNeighborWoods, RColorful Corners, and the Think Green Fair continuing to bring our citizens together to learn and to promote a more sustainable and vital community.
Community Involvement
I enjoy participating in activities that promote stewardship of our beautiful environment and local resources. I also enjoy seeing the small-scale changes that occur when community members work together. I have enjoyed participating in the “Litter Bit Better”, “RNeighborWoods”, “RColorful Corners”, and “Think Green Fair” projects and programs for this reason.
