When you started out did you think you would spend your life in Rochester?
Not Really. I am not a winter or cold weather fan so I did not plan on staying in Minnesota but Rochester is a great place to live.
If you had the choice, what would your dream job be?
If there were no obstacles, such as finances, I would like to have a shelter for abandoned and lost animals.
What chain of events led you down the road to RNeighbors?
I was taking part in the ALBB city-wide litter pickup with Public Works and that is where I met Rene and learned all about RNeighbors. She got me interested in becoming more involved. I’ve served as the Treasurer for RNeighbors for several years.
What is your favorite thing to do in Rochester?
I like to shop. I can thank my grandma Jane for that good hobby.
What is your favorite local business?
PrimeLending with Barb Brown. She makes the mortgage process hassle-free.
What is your favorite RNeighbors event?
Planting trees around the city and enjoying our yearly RLuau fundraiser.
What is a favorite quote of yours?
Anything is possible.
What is something that you could not live without?
My Dogs!!!
Dogs, cats, or other?
Two dogs, Jake (Yorkie) and Newton (Pug/Shit Tzu/Pomeranian) both which came from the Animal Shelter.
What do you enjoy spending your weekends doing?
Hanging out at home or with my family or friends.
What is your opinion of rainy days?
A rainy day is a good opportunity to stay in bed and watch a good movie.
After a series of stiflingly common questions, what strange question would you ask in an interview?
If you were a dog, what kind of dog would you be and why?
