What is the Neighborhood Project Grant? These grants reimburse up to $1,000 in costs for neighborhoods to complete projects that enhance a neighborhood’s livability and involvement, benefit the entire neighborhood and promote a strong sense of community. 2015 Spring Tree Grant Application Now Available

Photo: On September 27, 2014, the RNeighborWoods team helped the Washington neighborhood plant 25 trees including Ginkgo, Elm (disease resistant), Crab-apple, Red Bud, Buckeye, and Swamp White Oaks as a part of the Neighborhood Tree Grant. Trees make good neighbors. Since its creation in 2004, RNeighborWoods has organized 5,150 volunteers to plant 5,764 trees on Rochester boulevards.
