  Trees make good neighbors. Since 2006, the RNeighborWoods program has organized the planting of over 1,000 trees on Rochester boulevards, that provide multiple ecological and other public benefits including reducing Rochester’s carbon footprint. 2008 Fall RNeighborWoods Planting

100 trees were in the ground by 11 am. What a team! On Saturday, September 27, over 175 school and service groups, neighbors, families, RNeighborWoods partners, volunteers, and Citizen Foresters joined together in a morning of service to plant 100 new trees in the southeast Rochester neighborhood of Homestead Park.
