Creatures of the Night

A fun, family Halloween Happening that is non-threatening and enjoyable for parents and children ages 4 and older.  The evening program includes a guided hike through the Quarry Hill woods and cave.  Along the hike participants will encounter the ‘Creatures of the Night’ costumed characters, including a turkey, coyote, and white-tailed deer.   The cave will feature the “Pumpkin Promenade”, carved pumpkins and decorations leading the way through the cave.  The hike wraps up at the Nature Center with treats for all.  The trail is not stroller or dog friendly, and the event is held rain, shine or snow.     

Fee:  $7 per person / $6 per Friends member.

Friday and Saturday hikes start at 4:15 pm with the last hike leaving at 8:00 pm.  A new hike leaves every 15 minutes.
