Some good tree advice!Oaks and elms in our area are susceptible to disease. Due to this, in Minnesota it is not recommended to prune them from April-July. Parks and Rec focus on pruning these species during the recommended timeframe to reduce the risk of Dutch elm, or Oak wilt.
