Invitation to Meet and Greet Gord Hume
The Rochester Downtown Alliance and the Rochester Arts Council cordially invite you to an informal gathering with renowned author (“Cultural Planning for Creative Communities”) and entrepreneur Gord Hume on Monday, November 28th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Sontes.
The Rochester Downtown Alliance first introduced Gord to the Rochester community, where he shared his provocative thoughts on cultural planning and how Rochester might benefit as a creative community.
Now he has returned to present his provocative ideas on the crises facing our cities as he concludes the UMR CONNECTS November speaker series on Tuesday, November 29th at 7:00 pm in 417 University Square.
With his fascinating new book, “Taking Back Our Cities”, Gord will share how we can transform Rochester’s urban space into an even better/smarter place to live, work, and visit by utilizing cutting-edge technologies, integrated urban planning approaches, and sustainable methodologies.
