Thinking Green at the Festival of Trees

RNeighbors completed a tree for Hiawatha Homes Festival of Trees. In keeping with a sustainable Think Green theme, besides paint and photos, we used only items that came from our supply closet, the trash and a few items from thrift stores.

Be sure to stop by the Festival of Trees Thanksgiving Week: November 23-28, and check out the many gorgeous trees, including the RNeighbors green tree. Near our tree is a handy project sheet that includes some of our up-cycled ornaments, as well as tips for greening up your home and neighborhood. Not to worry, our ornaments do not take great artistic skills and our green tips aren’t drastic life-changing ideals but are easy suggestions to incorporate into your busy life.
